The Muslim Ummah in Enugu has dismissed the ₦100 million embezzlement claim as an “imaginary figure,” noting that the centre survives on meager donations from worshippers and has never handled such an amount in its history.
According to court papers, from 2011 to 2015, businessmen Aluko and Omokore conspired with others to pay bribes to Diezani who at the time oversaw the nation’s state-owned oil company.
The ruling was delivered by Justice Joyce Obehi Abdulmalik.
